Millennials don’t have the appreciation of digital cameras since they are not old enough to remember the old film cameras. Even though the first prototype digital camera was invented December 1975 by an engineer at Eastman Kodak, the first commercial digital camera on the market was in 1990. This prototype was approximately 8 pounds, used CCD sensors to convert light into electrons with a super 8 movie lens, analog to digital converter and digital cassette recorder.
